Congratulations, You have been officially accepted into the Empire Independent Baseball Showcase and League Spring Training Camp in Aguada, Puerto Rico for a chance to earn a spot with a team in the Empire League. Below you will find all the information needed to confirm your attendance to camp. Your final step would be to make your payment for your registration to set foot on the field. Only the Registration payment includes housing and meals in Puerto Rico. If you cannot make the full payment at this time, you may make payments until paid off. To secure your spot, an initial payment is required. If you are trying out for one of the 4 federation leagues and you are holding out until you receive results from them, you are 99.99% at risk of losing your opportunity to attend camp. We recommend making a deposit payment to secure your spot. Only if you sign to one of the 4 federation leagues will the EPBL issue you a refund. DO NOT WAIT! Camp will  fill up fast.

Players are invited to spring training for a chance to make an Empire League Roster. Only the players that attend this Empire League Showcase camp in Puerto Rico are eligible to make 1 of the 2 teams. The Puerto Rico Islanders and the Explorers Baseball Club. The Empire League does not sign or offer contracts to players at winter leagues or any travel showcase organizations. Only at EPBL Showcase Camps.  Rosters will be filled at the end of camp. Managers must ONLY sign players to fill their entire roster from only those players at camp. 

SPRING TRAINING LOCATION:

TRANSPORTATION:

Players are to provide their own transportation to and from camp and ALSO must provide your own transportation to teams first game city location if contracted.  Nearest airport to Showcase Camp is in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico Airport. The EPBL is not responsible for transportation until day 1 of Regular Season games. Players are to provide their transportation to teams game 1 destination. The EPBL highly recommends purchasing a FLEXIBLE FLIGHT  where the dates can be changed. Injuries happen unexpectedly and players must have transportation available immediately. If a player makes a team during this camp, he will be allowed to stay in EPBL Housing until game 1 in Puerto Rico.

COST: 

A player is required to cover the Registration and insurance fee. Housing and meals options are available. Personal expenses for camp such as Flights and entertainment is on you.  Registration to set foot on field is mandatory.  Below are the costs for both position players(including two way players) and pitchers only. If you're a pitcher and would like to be a two-way player, you must sign up as a position player. Pitcher only, will not be allowed to tryout as two way player. If you cannot make the full payment at this time, you may make payments until paid off. To secure your spot at camp and prevent from being removed from accepted players, an initial payment is required. A minimum of $175.00 payments are allowed. Any amount less than $175.00 will be refunded and your spot will not be secured. You may pay more than the required amount or the full payment at once. Final Payment will be less than $175. Initial payment of the required amount will secure your spot. For balance, Text only "BALANCE - Full Name" to (813)220-6506. If a player makes a team during this camp, he will be allowed to stay in EPBL Housing until game 1 in Puerto Rico at no cost. Players not selected by the two teams will be eligible to be selected by any of the other 4 teams. If you had a bad showing, you are also eligible to attend the Delaware camp at a discounted price.

NOTE: THERE ARE NO REFUNDS OF ANY KIND! IF YOU PAY AND ASK FOR REFUND YOU WILL NOT BE GRANTED A REFUND! IF YOU DECIDE TO GO ELSEWHERE YOU WILL BE CREDITED FOR FUTURE CAMP. 
WHAT YOU’RE ALLOWED TO BRING:  

You are ONLY allowed to bring  1 carry on size personal bag  50 linear inches (22 x 18 x 10 in) or 127 centimeters (56 x 46 x 25 cm) including handles and wheels and 1 baseball equipment bag. Any personal bag bigger then allowed size will be not be allowed to travel with team and team is not responsible for your belongings. There is laundry available so pack lightly. You must bring  MANDATORY, regular baseball ALL WHITE PANTS and ALL GRAY PANTS, Cleats and proper baseball equipment. If you make a team, all players will be required to bring a pair of black shorts. You must bring your own  BEDDING!  (Pillows, Sheets, Covers, Towels, Shower Shoes, Soap, Personal) . You will need to have your own bedding throughout the season. Housing will be provided for contracted players during season.  All players attending camp should be able to provide the following proper documentation (Valid passport or valid drivers license, social security information, employment visa information (for international only)) and is to have personal health insurance. All documents must be presented at camp check in.

To Finalize your camp registration, choose your option and make payment. You will receive an email receipt to use as confirmation. Please bring a copy of receipt to camp check in.  A spring training itinerary will be provided to you once registration has been completed. We look forward to seeing you at camp!
