PLAYERS SIGNED TO PRO CONTRACTS AT INSTRUCTS

FT MYERS, FL – Many players signed professional contracts out of this years Empire Fall Instructs. The Event took place in Fort Myers, Florida from November 26 to December 16, 2022.

The goal of the Empire Instructs is to provide a program held in Florida each year is a great opportunity for players to receive daily instruction along with the training they need through workouts and games to elevate their talents. Managers from MLB partnered leagues are the instructors and able to sing players on the spot.

As expected every year, the Empire League brings players that are accepted with potential to sign and this year many of them did just that. Although most teams require experience. Most players had none!

First Baseman Sean Lawlor showed great power and smooth fielding to be the first player selected by the Lake Erie Crushers of the MLB Frontier League.

Right handed Pitcher Yoilan Quinones was selected by the Empire State Greys of the MLB Frontier league the following day.

Infielder Luis Atiles was then selected by the Charleston Dirty Birds of the MLB Atlantic League.

Infielder Katsuya Arai follows by being selected by the Empire State Greys of the MLB partnered Frontier League.

RHP Daulton Leiker was also selected by the Empire State Greys of the MLB Partnered Frontier League.

Third Baseman Todd Mattox showed he can be consistent and was selected by the Lake Erie Crushers of the MLB Partnered Frontier League.

Right hander Junior Navas was impressive on the mound and was selected by the Empire State Greys of the MLB Partnered Frontier League.
