Tampa, FL – The Empire Baseball League has officially added a new member to the Board of Directors. A name everyone in baseball knows very well. 22 year MLB veteran and 11 time All Star Gary Sheffield.

Sheffield will now play a big role in the future of the Empire League as the league continues to develop players and provide the service of promoting players to MLB organizations and MLB partnered leagues.

Sheffield is a member of the MLB Players association as has a passion for helping young and upcoming players as the Empire League has done for many years. Adding Sheffield is a huge step in the right direction for the future of the Empire League.
